I will stamp all over 'credible fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.

Briton Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.

Ex twice world title holder Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I will break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."

Respectful Exchange

Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.

Size Difference

As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly going ahead.
